According to the district, total enrollment at Carmel Clay's eleven elementary schools is down 3 percent from what it was six years ago. At Monday night's board meeting, the interim superintendent made a recommendation to rebuild a new Carmel Clay Elementary School on its current site, and rebuild Orchard Park Elementary on a different location on Clay Center Road.
