Here's what you can expect:
Dr. Cheryl Okoli, DHA is an innovative, out-of-the box thinker, and health care leader with 20 plus years of health care experience. She is a board member of ACHE Canada. She describes herself in two ways: First, a “Doctor for your health administration needs” and has a Doctorate in Health Administration from A. T. Still University. She is the owner and founder of Shalom: Eagle’s Wings that is all about consultation, advocacy, and empowerment. She is a proponent of exploring and addressing the root cause analyses of work challenges and strongly advocates for preventing/readily treating challenges in the following pillars: leadership, workforce development, partnerships, organizational culture and financial practices. The goal is to enhance positive client outcomes. The client could be a patient, employee, or member of an organization. She believes in enhancing client/employee/administrator/executive satisfaction and organizational productivity by utilizing evidence-based frameworks to effect system changes at micro and macro levels while employing effective, efficient, and timely conflict resolution strategies.
Second, “Healer of organizations and employees, one employee at a time!” How? Through knowledge and wisdom gleaned from experiences over 20 years in the health care industry in various frontline, academia, and leadership positions. She chose to pursue a doctorate in health administration for many reasons and one such being, to effect positive change at the legislative/policy and sometimes global levels through advocacy efforts to improve individual, community, and population health at system levels. Her latest innovative population health solution to employee health is Renata Wellness and Recreation Retreat. She also serves as a global mentor/coach through her show “The Dancing Negotiator with Dr. Cheryl Okoli, DHA” on the Win Win Women Platform.
