🚨🇸🇾 Syrians Attack US-Backed Proxies

Government-backed tribal forces in Syria have launched a surprise attack against U.S.-aligned proxy Syrian "Democratic" Forces. The surprise attack was orchestrated by the General Intelligence Directorate, Syria’s main secret service agency, and carried out with fire support from the Syrian Arab Army.

Reports state they captured several towns from the SDF in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, including Abu Hamam, Granij, and al-Tayyana. Additionally, forces advanced in the northern countryside of the governorate, capturing the key town of Busayrah.A source from the tribal forces told Al-Watan that at least ten SDF fighters were captured alive. The unnamed source added that American-made weapons were also seized from the group.
