Found my Remedy!
I’m fighting over 20yrs of UV Damage. I was the one that would lay out under the hot sun without sunblock. I was the one that thought; I needed to get a base tan in the tanning beds. So I don’t burn my skin; tanning under the sun.🤦🏻‍♀️
If I known; what I know now… to apply damn Sunscreen! I probably wouldn’t be dealing with these nasty melasma islands. But here I am today… ok lesson learned. I can teach my daughters and grandsons.
Keeping my melasma islands at bay is going to be a lifelong commitment. What I’ve learned is first.. Consistency is Key, and second.. Lots of Patience. Dark spots, melasma, hyperpigmentation, etc. Doesn’t go away overnight. Maybe if you throw in a TCA Peel🤷🏻‍♀️ I consistently do light peels; during peel season. My melasma has lighten and broken up. I love that Dr. Shah came out with Remedy; because it’s formulated with a bunch of great dark spot inhibitors. Plus it works beautifully with other products. Adding Remedy to my brightening skincare routine has made a huge difference. My brightening routine consists of microneedling hydroquinone and Aerolase Laser Treatments. Thanks to FFRX Med Spa for helping me. As you can see in my before and after photos. My melasma islands show a huge difference. I believe adding Remedy to my brightening skincare routine has helped tremendously.
If you’re at your wits ends, give Remedy a try. I say give it atleast 3 months turnaround. Just don’t give up; once you get down to the bottom-up. It’s maintenance from here out. Remember what works on my skin; may not work on yours. Always do your own research on all products/devices and the proper protocols used. Apply your damn sunblock everyday😜
