Alex Pereira (UFC) Allegations Controversy | Nat and The Guy

An OF model, Meredith G Brown, made a series of allegations on Monday, August 5 against multiple UFC champion Alex Pereira. On her TikTok, Meredith alleged that Alex Pereira took advantage of her against her will, accusing him of SA.

However, once we watched her videos and heard her story, it is quite obvious that what she alleges is false. Not only does her narrative not make sense, but she herself details how she kept trying to meet up with Pereira and pursuing him relentlessly. This may be yet another example of a young woman making allegations against a famous person to make money.

If her story is indeed false, she should be investigated and possibly jailed for making such outrageous claims. Since the MeToo movement, women have become even more emboldened to receive a quick paycheque by ruining men's lives by lying about them. Not only that, but the definitions of consent, assault, abuse, and r*p* have almost lost all meaning.

Allegations like these only hurt women who are telling the truth and who have been hurt, by making any allegation open to doubt. Society should not have gone along with the 'believe all women' slogan because women are fallible beings who lie, cheat, steal, and fabricate stories for their own benefit. They are human, after all.
