Standing on an absence, flickering out in the dark.
Waking, slowly moving forward.
Always drawing in, always pulling.
These visions, regression behind the movements that we made.
To this end, am I?
Hoping, wanting more than mountains wrought from the earth and my mind.
Pretending, un-mending, the center followed into me and fell apart, always broken.
This tension, obsession, behind the memories that have made who I am inside.
All in this, I am. I was. Behind this empty space was me, unmade.
These shadows I can’t contain have left me here in all I lost, in all I lost inside me. Pulled apart, from light, into the earth.
