As Sgt. John Gates, my mission was to put an end to the reign of terror caused by the organization known as "C.O.I.L". But little did I know that my journey would take a dark turn when I discovered my team had been ruthlessly slaughtered. And to make matters worse, one of my own had fallen victim to an unknown virus and despite my efforts to save him, he succumbed to its deadly effects. However, the nightmare was far from over as the dead began to rise. It has been a month since the outbreak and I find myself stationed at a run-down military base, surrounded by the few surviving individuals. Our chances of finding a cure seem slim, but then news reaches us that the mastermind behind C.O.I.L, Dr. Necro, has been located on a remote island called Queensport. With a new team by my side, we set out to stop him from unleashing a more deadly version of the virus. But our journey is cut short when our transport helicopter is shot down by Necro's militia, leaving us stranded in the heart of enemy territory.
