PUTTING OUR LOVE FOR JESUS INTO ACTION

24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

Something about this morning's passage of scripture that really challenged my heart, because i want to show the love of Jesus to others through my actions not just my words, but I often wonder how I can do that when I have no money. I often wonder how I can show the love of Jesus to somebody, especially someone I barely know, without coming across as threatening or intimidating. That's one of the problems we have in our society today, and it's something I pray that we are able to overcome.

I was especially challenged and encouraged by what Xochitl Dixon this morning's devotional writer shared about the young woman who had an older gentleman that came over to see if she was OK because he hadn't seen her in a week. The man wasn't being nosy he was just genuinely concerned, and I wish we had more people like that. I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional are really challenging my heart, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will speak to your heart through them too.

How can you share Jesus’ love in a simple
and practical way with someone?

How can you be more intentional about consistently putting your kind thoughts into actions?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me on this particular issue, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will challenge you to want to express your worship for God, through loving kindness to others. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn what it means to put the love you say you have for Jesus into action! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you really think about these questions from this morning's devotional and ask yourself what ways you could share Jesus’ love in simple and practical ways with others, but also to do it. Maybe you have a neighbor that could use your help with things around the house, maybe some food, or maybe just keep them company. Maybe you have somebody you haven't seen around for a week or so and maybe you can go over to their home and see if they're OK. Whatever it is guys, whoever it may be, don't be afraid to reach out to them. You never know what good you may do for them, and how God will bless you for it.
