Matt Le Tissier Reveals The Truth About Being Sacked From Sky

Matt worked with Sky for 15 years after retiring from football. He was ‘let go’ and wasn’t given a definitive reason but he believes it was due to the controversial opinions he sometimes expressed.

One of these controversial opinions was when Matt refused to wear a BLM badge on air. The reason Matt was against wearing a BLM badge is because he didn’t agree with de-funding the police and the suspicions around where and how donations were being spent. He told the producers he would have supported any other anti racist charity, just not this one.
