A battle full of psychological manipulations continues to be waged on Venezuela and its people, for the crime of refusing to be subservient to the demands of the US and its allies. Something it has been doing for decades with the great cost of enduring endless sanctions that have ravaged its economy. The coup has seemingly failed but US officials continue to push another color revolution.

Today we speak with Arnold August is a Montreal-based author and journalist, specialized in international relations and geopolitics, especially in Latin America. He wrote the book “Democracy in Cuba” among others, and contributes to many outlets including Orinoco Tribune. He was also an election observer in this year’s presidential elections in Venezuela, in what what he calls a fraud free electoral process. We dive into the importance of anti-imperialist fronts like Venezuela and Cuba, as well as their role amid a fight between war and a new paradigm.
