Imagine that you could stop time for everyone except yourself at any moment. How would you take advantage of it? Without breaking the laws of physics, this is impossible, as we know that time equals distance divided by speed. And for time to stop, we would have to move infinitely fast. But let's set aside all these formalities. So, everything around us is frozen. People are not moving, and the molecules have literally halted. But you won't see that. If time is stopped, then photons, particles of light that usually move at the speed of light, will freeze. And you wouldn't hear anything either, as sound waves won't reach your eardrums. Theoretically, oxygen molecules also wouldn't be able to enter your lungs. You simply wouldn't make them move. So it turns out that your superpower would lead to you stopping moving after a couple of minutes, and for obvious reasons, it's not such an enticing idea; it would be much more interesting to have the ability to travel back in time, but that's a whole different story.
