WW II Buffalo Soldier Machine Gun Position...did we find it?

We love hiking around the old townsite of Charleston Arizona; It is a very quiet and peaceful place to get away to.

This area is full of history going back thousands of years. There were native American settlements, Spanish forts, silver boom towns, railroads, industry and military maneuvers.

In one of our videos, we explored the former military range and the areas along the river that were used to train the "Buffalo Soldiers" for WW 2. In this video, we set out to find a single location, taken from archival footage, of a lone machine gun position used for training in the ruins of Charleston.

We have some other videos coming up where we try to recreate the layout of the town and find locations in old pictures.
