2024_08_11 What are Curses and do they still Operate today?

The Gospel changed everything; we get to live under the freedom of what Christ achieved for us at the Cross. The Cross of Christ was no minor act of God, it was the greatest display of His Glory throughout all of History. Jesus came for a glorious purpose, an eternal purpose. He came to redeem us from the grip of sin and the curses of the law. You cannot be freed from sin and still have law. We cannot have this fear of the possibility that a curse has been put in place because of our behaviour, that’s no freedom. We must learn to move out of the shadows and go fully into the light of the New Covenant and embrace the fullness of what Christ died for. If the Curses of the law are still in place then what was the purpose of the Cross?
