One night the disciples were in a ship and a "great storm" came upon them. The boat began to fill with water and their lives were in jeopardy. They thought they would die. They cried out, "Master, careth thou not that we perish!"

Jesus was down below deck asleep on a pillow. Then He arose and "rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a '"great calm." They said among themselves being in fear and wonderment, "What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him." Mark 4:39.

There is a little word in that verse, "even," that emphasized something far greater than the norm. Something that took them beyond any human reason and rationale. The word "even" denotes something limitless and takes it beyond the bounds and into the supernatural power of Jesus Christ.

Whatever you are going through in your life. There is an "even" for you. Let that "even" be a comfort to you. He can say to that "even" of your impossibilities, "Peace, be still," and there will be a "great calm."

When you have prayed and have come to the end of all your prayers, end with these robust words, "Lord Jesus! even now!" Then watch and see what Jesus will do.

"He which testifieth these things saith, Surely come quickly. Amen. Even so, Come Lord Jesus! Revelation 22:20.

"All the tremendous forces of Nature in the world today are at the call of our God, and are only a faint shadow of the spiritual power that is His, and that He is ready to put forth for us. Is it not amazing? And How utterly foolish it is to plead weakness when we, even we may, if we will, move into the stream of power."
