As David started to reign in Judah, he was waiting for the LORD to give him control of the rest of Israel while Ish Bosheth reigned in the place of his deceased father, King Saul. Suddenly, the commander of Israel, Abner rebelled against Ish Bosheth and offered David control of Israel. David agreed without the knowledge of Joab, the commander of his army, who wanted to kill Abner for the death of his brother Asah-el. Joab deceived Abner into returning to Hebron and murdered him there. David was caught in this bad situation. What will he do?
