Desperate Job Hunt in China

08/10/2024 China Observer reports that in many cities in China, bus stops, parks and squares are filled with people who cannot find work and are living on the streets. Even jobs paying as little as 9 yuan an hour are hard to come by. Many outsiders are under great financial and psychological pressure and are even considering returning to their hometowns.
