Mariel Hemingway is an actress, mental health advocate, Emmy-nominated documentary producer, and author.

She is known for her work in the documentary Running from Crazy, which she co-produced with Oprah, as well as her deeply moving memoir, Out Came the Sun.

In this episode, Mariel shares raw insights about coping with her family’s history of mental health issues and substance abuse, why small lifestyle changes play a huge role in our mental well-being, and how we can all improve our mental health by simply reconnecting with nature.
