Psalm 23: 1 “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

What is a Shepherd? One who tends the flocks, leads, protects, guides, governs and provides for their welfare.

What is Welfare? Websters 1828 Dictionary: Good going. Exemption from misfortune, sickness, calamity or evil. The enjoyment of health and common blessings, peace and prosperity, or the ordinary blessing of society and civil government.

Isaiah 40:11 “He shall feed his flock like a shepherd; he shall gather the lambs with his arm and carry them.”

Psalm 84:11 “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”

Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
