The ego is the part of our psyche that makes us self-aware, and that part of our personality that we present to the public.
The shadow-self is the unconscious part of our psyche. Our shadow-self is an archetype that represents all that we have hidden or disowned within our psyche.
By integrating more of our shadow-selves into our conscious self-awareness, we can gain a genuine understanding of ourselves and others. The shadow-self holds the power to change our lives if we are willing to acknowledge it.
