Three gunmen killed a 17-year-old boy in a targeted daytime attack - Chicago

In Humboldt Park, Chicago, a 17-year-old boy was fatally shot by three gunmen in a deliberate attack. The incident took place on Wednesday evening around 6:14 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Franklin.

CCTV footage depicts the victim walking alongside two other individuals when a dark SUV pulls up beside them. The assailants exit the vehicle and open fire on the victim, causing his companions to flee for safety.

One of the shooters returns to the SUV to switch his handgun for a rifle, which he then uses to repeatedly shoot the victim at close range. Another gunman, who is also in close proximity to the victim, continues to discharge rounds as well.
