A doctor who drugged and raped women has been found guilty — CBS

A jury has found Steven Matthews - a Denver cardiologist - guilty of sexual assault. In 2023, the suspect himself saw no guilt in 38 counts.

Prosecutors allege Mathews met women on dating apps. He would then bring them home and drug them.

There are 11 women known to have been victims of a "drug attack" by the doctor. Nine of them Matthews allegedly raped, according to law enforcement officials.

The man faces decades in prison on the charges. During the trial, Matthews cried as the judge read the jury's verdict.
