Bio - Robert Slovak Background and Career
After five years of advancing the Minuteman III ballistic missile, Robert Slovak devoted himself to the science of water. In the early 1970’s, he and his brother Jack (a long-time participant in TeslaTech) directed their science and engineering degrees in pursuit of the emerging water technology of Reverse Osmosis (RO). They perfected the numerous and diverse applications of this remarkable technology. These included seawater desalination, bottled water production, water vending and water stores, home and office RO drinking water systems, high-purity laboratory water, hemodialysis, microchip production, spot-free vehicle washing and more…

As a result of the rapid growth of RO applications, Robert’s ongoing seminars, and a best-selling industry book on the subject of RO drinking water systems, he became a well-known figure in the water industry. In 1989 Water Factory Systems was purchased by CUNO Inc, a global leader in fluid treatment. Since then, it was acquired by the 3M Corporation, which continues to market many of their original products.
