AFU serviceman tells about training before invasion of Kursk region

'We got lost, came to a village, turned around, and moved through the field. The vehicle fell into a trench and broke down, then a commander detonated the vehicle,' said Hummer driver.

When Mikhail realised that he was on Russian territory, he found an opportunity to leave the group and surrender.

'I was followed by a guy, I didn't tell him where we were going. I threw away a machine gun, an armoured vest, a helmet. There were a knife and water left. I told him I was planning to surrender. He gave him a knife, gave him a handshake, and I got away,' added the prisoner.
