Rostech presented a fundamentally new unmanned transport system at the Army-2024 Forum - Sukhoi S-76

This is a vertical take-off and landing drone transport system.

The development will allow delivering loads weighing up to 300 kg over a distance of up to 500 km. The vehicle does not require specially prepared sites or airport infrastructure. Take-off, en-route flight and landing are performed fully automatically, without the direct participation of the operator.
Currently, the project is at the stage of testing key technologies and basic technical solutions. In the future, it is planned to organize industrial production of products.

The S-76 project will allow the implementation of unmanned automated transport systems in Russia, thanks to which it will be possible to carry out air transportation of goods much more economically and with minimal human intervention.

We remind that our channel anticipated the creation of a drone of this category as early as March 2022 and further with developments in September 2023 and last February.
