One of my campaign’s biggest hurdles is that the mainstream media won’t let me on. When Ross Perot won 19% of the vote, he was an invited guest on mainstream media almost every night. In the last 18 months, outside of Fox News, I’ve only had a handful of mainstream media interviews, most of them taped rather than live. As I told Roseanne Barr), this allows the media to demonize me with pejoratives and tell the public, ‘You don’t need to listen to him; he’s crazy’.
