In this video, two rowers glide along on the water while a powered boat follows them at pace. Each rower has one oar. I don't know much about rowing, but they seem to be doing a fine job of it.

According to the description, translated through google, this is a Procession of the Virgin of La Piedad, in the Albaida province of Seville. It was filmed on May 4th of this year.

Flower petals rain from on high, a band plays the processional songs, and crowds pack tight between the buildings to carry a large platform with a figure atop. I'm not sure how much this platform weights, but it doesn't look like it's made from styrofoam. The figure is quite nicely detailed, and flowers (or flower-like displays) are everywhere.

At about 2:32, a man steps in front of the platform and begins gesturing the petal throwers to move the side. I'm not sure why, but there are definitely a large amount of petals raining down.
