Former House Foreign Affairs Senior Investigator Jerry Dunleavy explains why he resigned in protest from Chairman Michael McCaul’s (R-TX) investigation into the Biden-Harris administration’s catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan. “Witnesses that we should have brought in, the committee refused to bring in. Many times, witnesses that the committee did bring in were treated with kid gloves. And it got the point where I felt that I needed to let the public know that this very important investigation, into one of the biggest foreign policy disasters in recent memory—this investigation was not serious,” he says.
