Logitech CEO Hanneke Faber let slip the company is working on a "Forever Mouse" that will serve as a replacement for your standard peripheral that tends to last... forever. Except this one comes with constant updates and a monthly fee. WHAT A DEAL!

The company has since walked back the comments and done considerable damage control, but if we are being honest, is it really that big of a stretch to think companies are going to get you to subscribe to every day items for the privilege to use them?
