In the Fall of 1966 Paul McCartney disappeared from public and many believe he was either killed or died in a car accident. He was then quickly replaced by a double (clone) or look-alike. The man who replaced him was the winner of a Beatles look-alike contest named Billy Shears (otherwise known as William Campbell Sheppard and often also referred to as “Faul”). Billy Shears was also a musician, and he was the winner of a Paul McCartney look-a-like contest held by The Beatle’s Manager Brian Epstein. Billy Shears A.K.A. William Shepherd or William Campbell had to learn how to play bass left-handed and sing like Paul McCartney. He also had plastic surgery, and I could do a whole video on all that evidence in itself. After the accident the band split up and were not seen in public for months. Each member was in a different country as if they just wanted to get away from a very tragic situation. Also, after 1966 the Beatles never toured again and not only did the sound of their music change, but their album covers and their whole image changed drastically. But once I began researching this subject, I was shocked by how much proof there really is that Paul McCartney was replaced. On a personal note, I am a musician myself and I was in a Beatles Tribute Band at one point years ago. As we were learning the song “Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band” the guitarist in the band said, “I just realized how different the songwriting is of the songs Paul wrote after 1966, especially after playing the old Beatles songs all night”. Don’t let the mainstream narrative throw you off on this one. Something really happened to Paul McCartney and although we may not know all the details, what we do know is that they fooled the world as they continue to fool us today. All the world’s a stage.
