Working on the re-find with Splash

In this video, the otter Splash is taught to locate the ball with the target odor and then alert the diver that he has found the target odor. Since we use the otters in low and no visibility waters, the otter will come up and start biting at the mask to alert the diver. In a normal deployment, the otter will have a harness and a line on so the diver can follow back to the target odor.
