Batman 1989 Sequel?

I was surprised to find out that there is a sequel to 1989 Batman being released soon and it won’t be a movie, but a book. What are your thoughts about this “direct sequel” to the 1989 Batman movie. Do you plan on buying it or is it just fan fiction? Please leave your comments below.
