How to translate Acts 5:29-32

"And answering Peter and the Apostles said, 'It is necessary to obey God rather than men. God, our Father, raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging him upon a tree. God exalted him as prince and savior by his right hand in order to give conversion to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses of these events and so is the Holy Spirit whom God gave to those who obey him'" (Acts 5:29-32, my translation).
