Appealing to Emotion - LIVE Deprogrammed with Keri Smith

A viewer asked me to give some examples on how the right can become better at storytelling, or appealing to emotion. The right is much better than the left at appealing to intellect and reason: using facts and evidence to support their claims. The left is much better at appealing to emotion: using storytelling and the arts to shape cultural attitudes (the left also engages more often in propaganda, manipulation and outright deception, but let's set that aside). If the right learned how to harness the creativity of storytellers and artists, they'd be much more effective at breaking through the emotional spell the left has on many people.
