What's up, HorrorFam? Steven A.K.A. Bojangles here, and today, we're going to take a look at one of the darkest pieces of lore in the Friday the 13th franchise: the shocking childhood of Jason Voorhees. We'll be taking a look at the man who he called father: Elias Voorhees. We'll also be talking about how Jason's mother, Pamela Voorhees, met Elias, and how Jason came to be.

We'll also discuss the unused storyboards for Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI, and how Director Tom McLoughlin would have changed the backstory of one of horror's greatest slashers, if only he'd gotten his way.

The Friday the 13th Game also offers up a backstory on Jason, providing their own lore, and childhood of the man behind the mask. Let me just tell you, that one gets pretty dark, but...
