Reising Model 50 Submachine Gun!

A look at my 1940 Reising Model 50. The M50 was used by the U.S. Marines in WW2 at Guadalcanal and was also used extensively back home to guard railroad crossings and other possible targets of enemy sabotage. It's an interesting design which lives on today in many inexpensive .22 semi-auto rifles. That's quite a testament to a design that's well over 80 years old!
