The Chinese Communist Party is expanding China’s production of robots. These are designed for a wide array of uses, from working in warehouses to carrying out basic household tasks. However, concerns are now being raised that the CCP could potentially weaponize these robots as a kind of “stealth army” inside other countries. Similar disquiet is being expressed regarding Chinese-made vehicles—and not just concerning artificial intelligence for automated driving, but also with the software used in Chinese vehicles in general.
