Adam Carolla: 'Race in America Is About Economic Class, Not Skin Color'

Adam Carolla says that race-based discussions miss the real issue: poverty.

“… the game that we play here in the United States is we say black people are three times more likely to have complications at childbirth, and black people are three times more likely not to have access to healthy food... what they're saying is poor people. It's whoever is the poorest doesn't have access to the legal system, doesn't have access to the medical system. They're saying poor people. But if the poor people happen to be black, then they just say black people.”
