my heart is happy because a24 just released the first trailer for their upcoming comedic Apocalypse movie Y2K geny viewers this was like 911 but way worse so it looks like your stereotypical high school party shenanigans on New Year's Eve 1999 Bros doing bro stuff crushes on the hot chick yes that's Rachel zaggler and then as an alternate history goes the machines rise up like y 2K prophesized I was lucky enough to watch this movie at a film f earlier this year and easily one of my favorites solely because the 9s aesthetic is so pure the references almost Easter eggs are so perfectly placed like this feels like a 9s movie a big reason is Kyle money of SNL Fame wrote and directed this so it's got some really obscure 9s off-brand humor great 9s music surprise 9s cameos that unfortunately this trailer kind of spoils but this was a huge fan favorite movie of the festival a big recommend
