The US Secretary of State has revealed that Israel's prime minister has accepted a so-called bridging proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza. Antony Blinken has been holding talks with Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials in Tel Aviv.
Al Jazeera's Hamdah Salhut reports from Jordan's capital, Amman, because the Israeli government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting inside Israel.
