The Terren Confederacy is no more, and Jim Raynor, alongside his group of rebels, are forced to survive as criminals under the rule of the traitor, the new emperor, Arcturus Minsk. Jalaxy has been morphed into a Cerebrate (don't ask how), a general of the Zerg created by the Overmind, their hive mind itself. The swarm seeks to consume all, by any means necessary.
