No one said these protesters were the most intelligent people. This protester taunts the police, and when the officer says to come closer, he takes the bait, and the protester is on the ground.

According to the National Lawyers Guild of Chicago, at least 72 people were arrested last night.

Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling said the group consisted of 55 to 60 people. Twenty-two people from outside the city and three journalists were in the group. They released most of them this morning.

Some charges were disorderly conduct, obstruction, and battery of police officers. The DNC ends tomorrow evening, and organizers have planned a rally and march for 5pm.
