"The Dam Breaks" || Unused Segment From One Of My Assignments

As the assistant composer to Richard Band, I compose additional music on his films. this cue was the second alternate composition to a scene in the movie "The Primevals" in which the archeology team discovers an ancient alien craft deep inside a cave. After composing this cue, Richard chose to go with the original cue I composed which can be heard in the movie.

This time I tried something completely different with no direction this time. I gave it more of a quirky, almost comical or maniacal feel. Still uses all the same large sections (chorus, strings, brass, and percussion) but in a WAY different approach. It's more chaotic, more action packed, more intense in the beginning and then dies down in energy.
