BMW M3 Oil Change DIY (2008-2013 BMW E90, E92, E93 M3)

Oil changes are a regular part of vehicle ownership. The high-revving S65 engine is as cool as it gets, but regular oil changes must be performed to keep it healthy. Old oil can leave goopy deposits behind that will clog oil passageways and starve those sensitive rod bearings of the oil they need.
Unlike bigger jobs, you can replace your M3's oil right in your own driveway. BMW recommends an oil change every 10,000 miles, but we aren't so sure about that. If you regularly drive your M car hard, consider lowering the interval to around half that figure.
