My perspective on What’s Wrong

I am only a paramedic and I am well aware that I am the lowest of clinicians, but I am also aware that the hospital never sees what I see. The opioid crisis now represents a significant portion of our call volume. Are our response times affected by the opioid crisis? I don’t know, I do not have those statistics, but in some areas I would say definitely. In my town this happens routinely and is effecting our ability to respond, and this is only getting worse not better.
