ADDICTIVE Desire & Obsessions: Damnation Game REJECT Review

In this REJECT SHELF #bookreview, I go over primary aspects of Clive Barker's novel 'The Damnation Game'. I highlight how Barker explores themes of obsession, desire, and addiction in a horrifying way while avoiding the cliche of the devil as a main character. However, I also critique the book's lack of narrative cohesion, poorly executed aspects, and overuse of graphic degeneracy/vulgarity that serve absolutely no purpose. Albeit a usually great author, this book is not worth the read.
