The Great Commandment is a 1939 Christian film that portrays the conversion to Christianity of a young Jewish Zealot. Actor John Beal plays Joel, and the Roman soldier Longinus is played by actor Albert Dekker. Directed by Irving Pichel who also provided the voice of Jesus for this wonderful movie.
