Fox News Host Both Dumb and Out of Touch

It appears that Fox New host Jesse Watters can’t do basic math.

While appearing on a podcast, Watters tried to guesstimate how much fast food workers earning $20 an hour would make in a year. “If you are making $20,” says Watters, “are you making six-figures?” Not quite…

Someone earning $20 an hour can expect to make $41,600 PRE-TAX. Watters is reminding all of us of that Arrested Development meme: “I mean it’s one banana, how much could it cost… $10?” Watters is clearly showing his own lack of connection with everyday working-class Americans by making this blunder.

At the clip, host of MSNBC’s “Last Word” Lawrence O’Donnell clapped back at Watters over his mistake. “Does Fox have an entrance exam to make sure you’re stupid enough to host 8pm?” O’Donnell asked on X.
