When the Shoplifter Realizes She Can't Outrun the Cop

On September 7, 2023 in Florida, officers were dispatched to Home Depot regarding a theft in progress. A loss prevention employee had observed a woman concealing items in a reusable bag, and when the first officer arrived on scene, he located the woman as she was exiting the store. When he called out to the subject, the woman turned, looked at him, and began to run through the parking lot. This is body cam footage of the events that followed.
