Because mosquitos don’t bite at 5:59… A 6pm curfew would likely mean severe disruption of soccer, football, and X-country season for kids. Once again, “health officials” fail to make any attempt to balance risks and benefits of interventions they propose - something doctors are required to do every day.

Massachusetts health officials are advising residents to stay indoors and imposing a 6 p.m. curfew on outdoor activities until at least October after detecting a human case of eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) spread by mosquitoes.
