Wednesday Evening Bible Study Jeremiah 14-15 8-28-2024

Jeremiah again reminds me of us believers in our day. He had a message from God for the people, but they wouldn't listen or hear. We find the same situation in our day.
God tells Jeremiah there will be four kinds of judgment coming upon Southern Judah and not to pray for their good, because God is finished with relenting; another heavy message.
Jeremiah pleas with God for safety and God reassures him that He will protect him.
Jeremiah 15:16 is the famous verse about Jeremiah finding and eating God's Word and it was as joy and rejoicing in Jeremiah's heart. We find the context of that verse in today's passage. Jeremiah was making that statement in the midst of trouble and heartache.
